An Open Secret

The fact that the New York Times feels comfortable to say that gay marriages often omit fidelity and monogamy (their words) says something about where the marriage debate stands. I seem to remember not that long ago that the argument was that there would be no major differences and that those who suggested this might be the case were ridiculed for their bigotry. A secondary redefinition of marriage, perhaps?
