Why Bible Reading is Down

Some insight from the folks at Biblica  on why Bible reading is down shared by Pete Enns. Big issues:

1) Read in fragments (verses only)

2) Ahistorical

3) Individually rather than corporately

I’m sure there are more reasons (less overall reading, competing entertainment, “practical” focus [of the wrong kind; you can’s save your marriage with the genealogies]). But this is a start.
